INGREDIENTS
• 2 egg whites, room temperature
• pinch of salt
• a few drops of lemon juice
• 110g sugar
• 6 Tbsp Nutella (optional)
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 140°C and line a baking tray with
non-stick paper.
Start beating egg whites at low speed. Add salt and
lemon juice. Then gradually add sugar. Increase speed and beat until the
meringue is smooth and glossy.
Gently spoon the meringue mixture into six equal portions.
Add a tablespoon
of Nutella and swirl it through each meringue until you get a swirly pattern.
Put them into the oven for about 30 minutes or
until firm to the touch.
Turn the oven off and leave the meringues in the
oven until the oven has cooled.
